How Team Scoring Works

Each team's score is the sum of IPF placement points earned by their top 5 lifters. Points are awarded based on placing: 1st = 12, 2nd = 9, 3rd = 8, 4th = 7, and so on down to 1 point for 10th place or lower.

Tiebreaker Rules (IPF Rule 11)

When teams have the same total score, ties are broken in order:

  1. The team with more 1st-place finishes ranks higher
  2. If still tied, most 2nd-place finishes, then 3rd, and so on
  3. If placement counts are identical, the team with the higher total GLP (Goodlift Points) ranks higher

GLP compares performances across different bodyweights using the IPF GL formula, allowing fair comparison between lighter and heavier lifters.
